Oiran and Kamuro

I recently bought and watched (a few times) Sakuran, a really awesome Japanese movie that I recommend. In response, I did this sketch/drawing/thing.

An oiran was a high class courtesan (prostitute) in Edo erra Japan, and a kamuro was a courtesan in training. Insert mandatory "these aren't geisha... geisha weren't prostitutes.... etc" speech.

I did this with my awesome template, once again. I'm really pleased with the detail on the oiran. I definitely recommend full viewing.
